After leaving audiences intrigued with the question, “Is it Original or Orijinal?”, the makers have unveiled the title of their upcoming Malayalam time-travel thriller, ORIJINAL, through a unique digital title launch. Produced by MAZ Media and Ziku Films, written and directed by Ramees, co-produced by Harshad, and featuring music by Electronic Kili, the film has already generated buzz on social media with its unconventional title, setting the stage for a cinematic experience that promises to be anything but ordinary.
Blending time travel, fantasy, humour, thrills and emotions, ORIJINAL revolves around a time-bending premise that leads to unexpected twists, challenging the very idea of what is truly “original.”
The film stars Sreenath Bhasi, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Rajesh Madhavan, Saaf Boi, Binu Pappu, Femina George, Sreekanth Vettiyar, Gokulan, Aneesh G, Salim Hassan, Dinesh Prabhakar, Rajesh Paravoor, Shameer (Chooral), Subin Tarzan, Arun Pradeep, Lala Malappuram, Stini Francis, Haris Saleem and Viru Vivek in pivotal roles. 
Shafique Mohamed Ali has edited the film, while Electronic Kili has composed the music. The cinematography is by Fahad Fatli, with art direction by Arshad Nakkoth and Rejeesh K. Surya. The visual effects are being created by Mindstein Studios. Ashra Mohammed serves as the Executive Producer and has also overseen the film’s casting.
The film’s sound design is by Sachin Sudhakaran and Hariharan M of Sync Cinema. Ronex Xavier heads the make-up department, while Sameera Saneesh is the costume designer. Action choreography is by PC Stunts, with the concept developed by Jipin Gopy. Javed Chempu is the Production Controller, while Jishnu and Sreejith P have choreographed the songs. The DI is by Srik Varrier, and the lyrics have been penned by Muthu, Ramees and Rish NK.
Rohit K Suresh is the still photographer, while Dr. Sangeetha Janachandran handles the film’s Marketing & Communications under the banner of Stories Social. Pradeep Menon serves as the Distribution Head. Manzoor Rasheed and Navaneeth Krishna are the Chief Associate Directors, Althaf Sultan is the First Assistant Director, Vaishnav D is the Associate Editor, and Sassu Anas has designed the motion graphics. The poster design is by Yellowtooths, while the title design has been created by Abhilash Chacko.
The music rights of ORIJINAL have been acquired by Think Music, while Home Screen Entertainments has come on board as the film’s GCC distributor.
With the title now officially revealed, ORIJINAL has kicked off an intriguing promotional campaign, with the makers set to unveil more exciting updates in the coming weeks.
