Mohanlal’s daughter seeks blessings with her mother Suchitra before the release of her debut film directed by Jude Anthany Joseph.
Ahead of the release of her debut film ‘Thudakkam’, Vismaya Mohanlal, daughter of superstar Mohanlal, visited the renowned Mannarasala Nagaraja Temple in Haripad, Alappuzha, along with her mother, Suchitra Mohanlal, to seek divine blessings.
Vismaya and her mother offered prayers to Mannarasala Amma, seeking divine blessings ahead of the theatrical release of Thudakkam on August 7. The visit marked a special milestone for Vismaya, who is all set to embark on her acting career with her much-anticipated big-screen debut.
Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, Thudakkam marks Vismaya’s first appearance as a lead actress. Set against the backdrop of a picturesque hill village, the film also stars Ashish Antony, son of producer Antony Perumbavoor, in a pivotal role. Mohanlal himself will also be seen in an important character, adding further excitement to the project. 
Earlier, Mohanlal and Suchitra accompanied Vismaya to the film’s press meet, where the veteran actor expressed his wholehearted support for his daughter’s new journey in cinema. The temple visit followed soon after, symbolizing the family’s prayers and hopes for a successful release.
Thudakkam is Jude Anthany Joseph’s first directorial venture after the blockbuster 2018. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the Aashirvad Cinemas banner, the film is the production house’s 37th project. Executive producers Dr. Emil Vincent and Dr. Aneesh Antony are also associated with the film.
Following her brother Pranav Mohanlal’s journey into Malayalam cinema, Vismaya is now set to make her own mark on the silver screen with Thudakkam. Her debut has sparked widespread excitement among fans, with audiences eagerly looking forward to seeing her in her first lead role.
