Six leading Malayalam directors announced the teaser release through their social media handles; teaser released at 4:57 PM on Think Music’s official YouTube channel
The teaser of the highly intriguing Malayalam time-travel thriller ‘ORIJINAL’ has been released, taking audiences deeper into the film’s unusual world of time travel, fantasy, humour, thrills and emotions. The teaser was unveiled at 4:57 PM through Think Music’s official YouTube channel, following a unique digital announcement led by six prominent Malayalam filmmakers.
Directors Anwar Rasheed, Chidambaram, Tharun Moorthy, Dominic Arun, Salim Ahmed and Krishand announced the teaser release through their respective social media handles with the caption, “It’s TIME to TRAVEL to the world of ORIJINAL.” 
The newly released teaser offers a glimpse into the time-bending world of ‘ORIJINAL’, with Sreenath Bhasi appearing in two distinct looks, immediately raising questions about the connection between the characters and the film’s central premise. His dialogue, “Ini nammade samayaa,” is among the teaser’s standout moments, while the visuals hint at unexpected events triggered by shifts in time.
Having already generated curiosity with its unconventional title and the question of whether it is “Original” or “Orijinal”, the film continues to build intrigue around its premise. The title itself offers a clue to the film’s exploration of time, reality and the boundaries between them. Blending time travel with fantasy, humour, thriller elements and emotional moments, ‘ORIJINAL’ promises audiences a distinctive cinematic experience.
Produced under the banners of MAZ Media and Ziku Films, the film is written and directed by Ramees, with Harshad serving as co-producer. The music is composed by Electronic Kili.
The film features an ensemble cast led by Sreenath Bhasi, alongside Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Rajesh Madhavan, Saaf Boi, Binu Pappu, Femina George, Sreekanth Vettiyar, Gokulan, Aneesh G, Salim Hassan, Dinesh Prabhakar, Rajesh Paravoor, Shameer (Chooral), Subin Tarzan, Arun Pradeep, Lala Malappuram, Stini Francis, Haris Saleem and Viru Vivek in pivotal roles.
Shafique Mohamed Ali is the editor, while Fahad Fatli handles cinematography. The art direction is by Arshad Nakkoth and Rejeesh K. Surya, with visual effects by Mindstein Studios. Ashra Mohammed serves as Executive Producer and also oversees casting.
Sound design is by Sachin Sudhakaran and Hariharan M of Sync Cinema. Ronex Xavier heads the make-up department, while Sameera Saneesh is the costume designer. Action choreography is by PC Stunts, and the concept has been developed by Jipin Gopy.
Javed Chempu is the Production Controller, while Jishnu and Sreejith P handle choreography. Srik Varrier is responsible for DI, with lyrics penned by Muthu, Ramees and Rish NK.
Rohit K Suresh is the still photographer, while Yellowtooths has handled poster design and Abhilash Chacko has designed the title. Vaishnav D is the Associate Editor, while Sassu Anas handles motion graphics. Manzoor Rasheed and Navaneeth Krishna are the Chief Associate Directors, with Althaf Sultan serving as First Assistant Director.
Dr. Sangeetha Janachandran, under the banner of Stories Social, handles the film’s Marketing & Communications, while Pradeep Menon serves as the Distribution Head.
The music rights of ‘ORIJINAL’ have been acquired by Think Music, while Home Screen Entertainments has come on board as the film’s GCC distribution partner.
