Worldwide Release on July 31
Kandan, a Malayalam thriller filmed entirely in the United Kingdom, is all set to hit theatres on July 31, marking a significant milestone for Malayalam cinema. The film is expected to release simultaneously in Kerala and the UK, making it the first Malayalam feature produced by UK Malayalis to receive a theatrical release in both regions.
The film is directed by Jibin Antony, who also wears multiple creative hats as the writer, editor, lyricist, and co-cinematographer. The cinematography has been handled by Jibin Antony and Alan Jacob, bringing the scenic landscapes of the UK to the big screen through a gripping thriller narrative.
One of the unique highlights of Kandan is its cast, which features fresh faces from the UK Malayali community. The makers hope this new talent, combined with the film’s suspense-driven storyline, will offer audiences a refreshing cinematic experience. 
The film’s music has been composed by Jaison John, while its songs performed by acclaimed playback singers Sooraj Santhosh, Sithara Krishnakumar, and Anju Joseph have already received a positive response from listeners.
Kandan is produced under the banner of Fourth Wall Pictures, with Saji P. Kurian, Aju John, and Sabu Thomas serving as co-producers. Benny Aashamsa is the Creative Head, and Philip K. J. is the Line Producer.
For distribution, RFT Films will release the film across the United Kingdom, while Himukri Jayageetham will handle the Kerala theatrical distribution. With a compelling thriller backdrop, a talented team, and the distinction of being a pioneering UK Malayali production, Kandan is generating excitement among Malayalam movie lovers both in India and abroad.
